240 hectars - Super Tuscan wines

Nestled in the Chianti hills just outside Florence, Poggio Casciano is an estate with deep roots in Tuscan heritage. At around 200 meters above sea level, its vineyards cultivate Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot — varieties that contribute to some of Ruffino’s most renowned blends.
Beyond its viticultural excellence, the estate hosts Casa Ruffino, which includes an elegant Wine Relais, the Tre Rane restaurant, an Enoteca, and curated tasting experiences in its historic cellars. The architecture, landscape, and hospitality combine tradition and contemporary design, offering visitors an authentic expression of Ruffino’s culture and values.

TENUTA LE LOGGE

20 Hectares - Brunello di Montalcino Wine

Located in Montalcino, Le Logge stands out for its dramatic slopes (“Greppi”) between 250–450 meters, which shape its vineyards and amplify its character. This estate specializes in Brunello di Montalcino, using 100% Sangiovese Grosso (locally called Brunello). Its steep, self-draining soils and combination of clay, loam, and gravel give wines of elegance, complexity, and long aging potential. Ruffino Greppone Mazzi is produced here.

At Gretole, magic happens in the heart of Castellina in Chianti. With 238 hectares, 110 of which are vineyards, the vines flourish at 230-290 meters above sea level in rocky, stony soil ideal for Sangiovese grapes. This enchanting estate features a charming stone villa and the Ruffino masterpiece Riserva Ducale Oro Chianti Classico Gran Selezione. "Gretole" pays homage to the crumbly galestro rock, Mother Nature's secret for unbeatable wine flavors.

70 Hectares - Chianti Classico Wines

Santedame, in Castellina in Chianti, lies in the heart of the celebrated Conca d’Oro, where south-facing slopes and distinctive galestro soils give rise to wines of remarkable elegance and finesse. The estate encompasses 70 hectares of vineyards, where the combination of warm days and cool nights favors perfect ripening and balance. The history of Santedame dates back to the fifteenth century and is closely linked to the chapel from which it takes its name, adorned with a restored fresco from the school of Ghirlandaio. Alongside fine wines, the estate also produces Chianti Classico DOP extra-virgin olive oil from its prized olive groves, reflecting a long-standing tradition of quality and respect for the land.
